  Horrible school! Do not send your kids here.
  
  I waited all school year to write this review hoping they will be able to turn it around but the staff here just doesn’t care about the students. The test scores fall far below the state average and it’s because the teachers can careless and they are only coming here for a check. The 7th grade assistant principal Mr. Brian Coleman is a different type of breed of the human species. I walked into the lunch room to have lunch with my son on his birthday and caught him yelling at the students over the microphone and threatening the poor students because someone let off a stink bomb and there were several fights. (There are ALWAYS fights happening at this school, it’s non stop). Even when I sat down to eat lunch another teacher told me I couldn’t sit where I was sitting lol. Mr. Coleman has a nasty attitude with the parents and the students and idk how he is still employed there after I have complained about him on several different occasions. Mr Edgar Dawson a 7th grade teacher is just as horrible...he will pick on your child in the classroom and degrade them in front of their peers all while smiling to your face and denying he did or said anything. I didnt believe it at first until my son showed me a video of him in the classroom talking and yelling at the students in a disrespectful manner. I’ve complained to the principal and superintendent but of course they sweep these issues under the rug. My son will not be attending this school next year. They don’t care about the students, there is a fight every day, the teachers are not qualified, and the administrative staff does not respond to complaints properly. If I could give this school a negative score I would.
